In the context of globalization, in keeping with the international development of education science, the University has increasingly expanded its ties with leading universities at home and abroad with a view to promoting information exchange and carrying out co-operative activities on teacher education and education research. The University takes pride in a network of global collaboration with around 100 world-class colleges, universities and research institutes in England, France, America, China,  Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, etc...

The University of Education is a member of Asia - Pacific Teacher Association and Asia - Africa Colleges of Education  Network; It is also Vietnam's representative of University of Cambridge International Examinations (UK) - a major provider of international qualifications for teachers.

The University of Education has been conducting more than 20 joint training, exchange programs and research projects with America, Australia, China, France, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore,Taiwan, Thailand, Sweden and UK.

·       Joint Training Program for Teachers and Trainers with Cambridge International Examination, University of Cambridge, UK;

·        Joint Training Master Program in Educational Administration with the University of New England, Australia;

·        Joint Training Master Programs in English Linguistics and in Educational Leadership and Management with Dalarna University, Sweden;

·        Joint Training Master Program in Psychology and Vocational Guidance with INETOP/CNAM, France;

·                    Joint Training Master Programs in Information Management and in Business Administration with Shu-Te University, Taiwan;

·                    Joint Training Master Program in Training and Employment System Management with University of Caen, France;

·                    Joint Training Master Program in Mental Health with Vanderbilt University, USA;

·                    Joint Training Master Program in Social Management with North-East University of Teacher Training, China (based on funding from Project 165 of Viet Nam’s Government).

·                    Annual Faculty and Student Exchange Program with Chiba University, Japan;

·                    Project on 'Schooling in the Future of the Asia-Pacific Region' with OECD (co-launched by USA and Japan);

·                    Project on Higher Education funded by the World Bank;

·                    Project on Improving and Learning Method in Maths with San Jose  University (USA);.

·                    Project on Improving teaching competencies for teachers in mountainous areas with the Center for Local Cultural Study, Oregon University (USA);

·                    Project on Clinical Psychology and Mental Health, as well as supporting training Ph.D students (mental health field) with Vanderbilt University (America);

·                    Project on “Applying interactive pedagogy in teaching and learning methodology” with  Quebec University (Canada);

·                    Project on increasing quality and improving the training competency in the field of eduacation management funded by the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC).

·                    Leadership Training Program-Summer Leadership Institute with University of La Verne, California and CHEER for Viet Nam, California;

·                    Research Project on Women in Educational Leadership in Viet Nam with University of La Verne, California and CHEER for Viet Nam, California;

·                    Curriculum development for primary teacher training reaching international standards with Canada’s  experts, Toulouse-Le Mirail University and Nayang Education Institute, Singapore;

·                    Curriculum development for “living skill education” with Living Values Organization.

    University of Education has published UE Brochure version. The University is mangaged by Rector Board and Science & Academic Committee under the directions of Vietnam National University in Hanoi.

    Announcement and Call for Papers 

    During December, 2009 the Faculty of Education, (Website: http://www.eduf.vnu.edu.vn/english/), Vietnam National University in Hanoi, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its foundation. To mark this event, we plan to organize an International Workshop on “Policies for Teachers and Educational Leaders in the World and in Vietnam in an Era of Globalization and International Integration”.
