To assist in the development of research on technology training in the field of education in multiple languages, on 04/18/2012, International Conference on Multi-language Didactic was opened at the University of Education - VNU.
March 6, 2012: The University of Education (UEd), Hanoi National University welcomed and worked with the lecturers and students of Chi Ba University during the annual cooperation visits between the two universities.
On 2012 Feb 21st, the Seminar on Teacher Preparation in the United States was conducted by
Dr. Sarah Mackenzie from University of Maine. This semester, Dr. Sarah Mackenzie is a Fulbright Scholar at University of Education, VNU.
“Practices of primary education in Vietnam and Malaysia” was the subject of scientific seminars by University of Education (VNU) and University Sains Malaysia held on 03 Oct, 2011.
On November 07, 2011 morning, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi My Loc – Rector of University of Education (UEd), VNU has had a meeting with Dr. John P. Keenan, President and Founder of the Institute for Leadership and Global Education (ILGE).
Towards the cooperation and development of program on education technology with Faculty of Education Sciences, University of Education and Paris Ouest Nanterre University, the Republic of France, on April 12th, 2011, UEd. organized an international seminar on pedagogy technology and learning, which presented by Prof. Philippe Carre, director of the Center of Education Studies and Training, Paris Ouest Nanterre University.
On 2011 January 23rd, the Seminar on Global Educational Issues was conducted by two US famous experts on global educational issues, Prof. Dr. Joel Spring, from Queens College and Graduate Center, City University of New York, and Mrs. Naomi Silverman, a senior editor of the Routledge Publisher, Taylor & Francis Group - a big group on publishing global issues on education
After nearly 2 years of applying a new approach of teaching apprenticeship . On May 25th 2010, UEd has held the workshop of teaching apprenticeship 2009-2010. This is the opportunity for the Steering Committee (including representatives of high schools have involved) to review the activities, evaluate advantages and disadvantages, achievements, as well as suggest solutions for further development.
On January 9th 2011, in Thong Nhat park, the opening ceremony of Vietnam Youth Year 2011 has held by the Central Communist Youth League and Vietnam Student Association and also honored students of “Stars of January”, “Students of 5 Excellence”, Hanoi students in the new era” who have excellent achievement in studying and youth union activities in 2009 - 2010 school year.
