CENTRE FOR EDUCATION RESEARCH AND APPLICATION (CERA)
The Center for Education Research and Application under the University of Education was established upon the Decision No 985/TCCB dated 29th December, 2003, issued by the President of VNU.

CERA Achievements in the past
A great number of research projects have been implemented in Educational Management, Environmental Education, Pedagogy, Assessment and Evaluation, Curriculum development, etc, for K-20. Different research projects funded by foreign organizations in economic, socio- cultural fields.

Structure, Academic Staff and CERA contact
CERA has a flexible structure based on its activities and research work: 1) Research Division: a) Future Education and E- learning, b) International Education & Projects c) Education in Vietnam; 2) Divisions for Marketing and Academic Exchanges, Seminars and Workshops: 3) Division for Professional Development and Consulting. Every member of the CENTRE will conduct research and marketing in accordance to his/her functions based on the CENTRE’s plan.

CENTER FOR INFORMATION, RESEARCH AND SERVICE IN PSYCHOLOGY
In 2007, the Center for Professional Information and Orientation (SCUIO – “Service Commun Universitaire d'Information, d'Orientation, et d'Insertion Professionnelle”) was established at the Faculty of Education (previous name of the University of Education), under the framework of the so-called Pôles Universitaires Français (PUF), which is a governmental cooperation between Vietnam and France. On that basis, the Center for Research, Information and Service in Psychology (CRISP) was then founded in June 2009 as a college center of the College of Education within Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

CENTRE FOR EDUCATION QUALITY ASSURANCE
The establishment of the Centre has marked an important step in the UEd’s efforts to become a high quality educational institution with much attention having been paid to the assessment and evaluation of the UEd’s quality activities, especially quality of teacher preparation.

CENTER FOR SOCIAL WORK AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The Center was established according to the Decision number 96/QĐ-TCCB, dated on 3/8/2007 issued by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, VNU. It is operated according to the Decree number 35/ HĐBT on Management of Sciences and Technology dated on 28/01/1992 by PM Committee (Government Office today), Legal Bases of SRV, and Regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the College.

Announcement and Call for Papers 

During December, 2009 the Faculty of Education, (Website: http://www.eduf.vnu.edu.vn/english/), Vietnam National University in Hanoi, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its foundation. To mark this event, we plan to organize an International Workshop on “Policies for Teachers and Educational Leaders in the World and in Vietnam in an Era of Globalization and International Integration”.
