Hanoi Forum on Pedagogical and Educational Sciences
HaFPES (Hanoi Forum on Pedagogical and Education Sciences) is organized with the aim of creating an academic space with the convergence of domestic and foreign experts and researchers on research directions and methods in the field of pedagogical and educational sciences worldwide; create an academic environment for learners; HaFPES provides the opportunity for researchers, faculties, and learners to publish their quality articles of international standards.
HaFPES 2021 is the first step in a series of forums on educational and pedagogical sciences expected to be held in the following years. HaFPES aims to create an academic environment to discuss, research and consult policies on approaches and adaptations in the field of teacher training and educational sciences in the context of digital transformation and the use of AI (artificial intelligence), IoT (Internet of things) in education is increasingly popular.
Since its establishment in 2021, the HaFPES Conference (Hanoi Forum on Pedagogical and Educational Sciences) has grown into one of the most significant annual academic events in the field of education and pedagogical sciences in Vietnam. Over the past five seasons, from 2021 to 2025, HaFPES has continuously expanded in scale, academic quality, and international reputation, becoming a prestigious platform for scholars, researchers, lecturers, policymakers, and educational practitioners to exchange ideas and present innovative research.
The first HaFPES Conference in 2021 marked the beginning of a meaningful academic journey. Organized with the aim of promoting research collaboration and academic dialogue in education, the inaugural conference created opportunities for experts from universities, research institutions, and educational organizations to share their studies and practical experiences. Despite the challenges caused by the global pandemic, the conference successfully attracted significant attention and laid a strong foundation for future development.
In 2022, the second season witnessed remarkable growth in both participation and academic diversity. The conference expanded its themes to include educational management, curriculum development, teacher training, educational technology, and sustainable educational policies. More domestic and international scholars joined the event, contributing to richer interdisciplinary discussions and strengthening the conference’s academic influence.
By 2023, HaFPES had become a well-recognized forum for presenting cutting-edge studies, especially in areas such as digital transformation in education, innovation in teaching and learning, and global trends in higher education reform. The conference increasingly emphasized international cooperation, encouraging cross-border research partnerships and collaborative publications among scholars from different countries.
The 2024 conference further enhanced HaFPES’s international standing by welcoming distinguished keynote speakers, professors, and researchers from prestigious universities and institutions around the world. Their participation not only raised the academic quality of the conference but also provided valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and future research collaboration.
